How i came to CSSC and became a coach in CSSC ___________________________________
I started my Novice, intermediate Canoeing course in 1997, and i completed my Sea Proficiency in Klssc on 1998.
After my Sea prof, i started my Asst instructor in Klssc. I also did competition kayaking for abt 2yrs. That time i was totally concentrated on my kayak racing.So i missed and i also wasn't knew the BCU conversion on year 2000, and that time i was got converted frm a Sea prof and Asst instruct titles into just 2star holders..
I was a bit sad that time. hmm.. wat a great lesson to me. After this lesson, the lesson is make me even more passion in my kayaking. After i took a break for abt 1 yrs. I decided to restarted back my kayaking journey again on year 2000, I took up my 3star in CSSC and i followed up brought my gal friend jia hui took up 1star.
That time my 3star was under Richard and Jinpin, of cause Jiahui 2star also under Richard and Kiwi. i was impressed by Richard and jinpin the skills and the way they coach.
Also followed up i met and got to knew uncle Meng teck, he's skills is there although he's age is quite up haha. Meng Teck also give me lots of guide and suggestion on my stroke and coaching. After my 3star assesment, i was decided to stayed in CSSC with couples of kayaking friends. At that time, Jiahui was still a 3star trainee.
After jiahui completed her 3star training course, me and jiahui we heard that have L1 kayaking coaching course, we were took up the L1 training course too.
After the course, we were the 1st grp of trainee coach who took the assesment but different 1star course. But i was unlucky enough my grp of 1star trainee who was kana the fishing lines due to the sudden waves. So jiahui cleared her assesment at once, i need to re-asses of my coaching assesment.
My sec time assesment was with Hougang sec schs, my Asessor was even stricter one. I tried my very best to planned do my coaching assesment this time, finally a smooth cleared assesment and i Become a coach now.
Anyway i already use to it, my lifes is always full of obstacle.
