Today I just coach another 1star groups with chris and a attachment student kelvin, but its on 2 Sundays. In the morn abt 6 adults came late 30mins... haiz some more took their are own sweet time. After our briefing and equipment theory. We take our equipment go into the shore. It was a mixed grp JC, poly and public grps. I was coach 2 RP student again, its ivy and pearl haha. Sometime I rather take student then adults, at least their have self own discipline there.
morn we did swimming test, I was be a marker for the swimmers. And after swimming test all was cleared. We gather everyone, I was showing them the Ambaking and Disambaking also capsize drill on the pratical, Chris was explained all the technique.
After our demo, we spilt into 3 grps, Chris has 6 student, attachment coach has 5 student , Me has 5 student too.
The 2 RP ivy and pearl was with me and the rest of them was SAJC student was with me. After we did the capsize drills we did again to do it better, due to some of them cant do well. After they capsize drill, we each one of us took our paddle back to the clubs and go for lunch, and after lunch we continue.
After lunch we was do in the deep water entry and rafted X rescues, the SAJC and 2 RP was under me. At 1st we was did the deep in rescue with face down method, the 2 RP student was having a great hard time just to get into the kayak, like wise the SAJC student was still alrite. After all of them has done the deep in rescues, we proceeding to Rafted X Rescues, most of them due to the kayak a bit too heavy most of them has a little problem to pull the rescue kayak overed for emptying the rescued kayak water away frm the cockpit. After our rescues as already and of lesson time, I give them the debrief and we keep all the equipment back to the club and washed out, after that we the trainee bath and gone back.
Next sunday will be the final day of 1star. GOOD LUCK TO ALL my 1 STAR STUDENT.
Conclusion: Today 1star class its a bit quiet, Lucky we have 2 RP student Ivy and pearl creating some Jokes in they are action, hahah really remind me RP ppl during my 1star lesson. that time it was my most enjoyable class during with RP 1star kayaking lesson.
